“Grafham Cycling is hosting a free dedicated 29er demo day on Sunday 29th April featuring bikes from Trek, Kona, Scott, Giant, Yeti, and Specialized. The Cambridgeshire based cycling centre, part of the ‘Rutland Cycling’ family, has a 9 mile waterside demo route on which riders can put the bikes through their paces. Also on the day riders can enter a draw to win a Specialized Carve Comp worth £1,000.

Liz Kett, the Grafham store manager and avid mountain biker explains: “Here at Grafham we always have a great range of 29ers available to demo. Our first 29er Demo Day this year at our Fineshade venue was a huge success. 100 riders braved the February weather to hit the trails and over 40 bikes were available to demo on the day. To our knowledge that was the biggest 29er day ever held in the UK, and we want to go even bigger and better at Grafham this April. The Specialized Carve is a superb prize and attendees have a very good chance of winning”!

Look at the girth on that!

Mark Craddock, part of the Grafham sales team, adds that “Grafham is perfectly suited to demo days. The 9 mile loop of Grafham Water is not only a beautiful ride, it’s a good course for experiencing the distinctive roll and handling of a 29er. My first 29er test ride was right here and it certainly changed my perception of the bikes – for the better! We’ve got some big deals on new 29ers which will only be available here on the day, so it will be well worth the trip”.

Grafham Cycling is located on the shores of Grafham Water, less than 2 miles from the A1 near Huntingdon. The venue offers everything for the mountain biker; a fully stocked shop run by experienced staff and new off-road routes that introduce riders to the secluded back-routes of this pretty corner of Cambridgeshire. These are detailed on new maps now available in-store.

To demo bikes on the 29th riders will need a credit card and proof of id. For prices, reservations and for more information on the 29er demo day on Sunday 29th April please call Grafham Cycling on 01480 812 500 or visit www.rutlandcycling.com/29er
