April Fools it isn’t; Ilkley based JD Cycles are offering a chance to ride some of their newly arrived mountain bike brands come 1st April. To celebrate their return to the righteous side of cycling they’ve got a selection of demo bikes from the likes of Yeti, Pivot, Giant, Ibis, Scott, Genesis and Quoros plus home made sarnies and pies for refreshment. Mr Sam Needham, the multimedia maestro behind the Singletrack Issue 72 cover, will also be on hand to offer advice on stops, colours and show off the new Altura films. More detail below..
“To celebrate the re-launch of mountain bikes here at JD Cycles, we would like to invite you all to our Ultimate demo day.
Over the last few years, mountain bikes have been out shone by the road bike side of our business. Our roots are firmly in mountain bikes and riding our local trails so we’ve upped our game and taken mountain matters into our own hands.
We’ve taken on no less than three new brands to compliment our existing mountain bike brands to form the ultimate range of bikes available through one shop!
Our range now includes Yeti, Pivot, Giant, Ibis, Scott, Genesis and Quoros.
We now want to celebrate all things mountain bike with the Ultimate Demo day here at JD Towers with a great range of demo bikes for you to try. Yeti, Pivot and Scott will be here with everything from the new SB66, Mach 5.7 and the Spark 29er among other. Giant bikes are also available to book and ride via their website.
We’ll have rides out throughout the day along with locally made sarnies, pies and cakes available to refuel you after the ride.
Hope will be present with some great displays of their parts and accessories along with one of their Green Hope Bikes!
Sam Needham will also be showing off his images and Altura films in store.
