If your idea of enduro is a ride that goes on for a very long time then this might be more up your street; yes, Mountain Mayhem, the original 24hour endurance race is returning for 2012 complete with a new sponsor in the form of online retailer Wiggle. Once again the event will be returning to Eastnor Castle Deer Park over the 22nd-24th June 2012.

The new event website has just live, with online entries set to open from the 1st March. Of course, if you’d like to go down the time honoured route of heading to organiser Patrick Adams’ house to deliver your entry in person then you still can. Entry forms can be downloaded from the Wiggle Mountain Mayhem website from midnight on the 29th February.

There’s good news for charity riders too, as the website will host a ready made ‘Press Pack’ to help them raise as much money as possible for their chosen charity. The pack is designed to help them to raise their profile in their local area to generate sponsorship donations and support for their cause. With over 2,700 riders expected for Wiggle Mountain Mayhem 2012 it’ll only need £375 to be raised by each entrant to make 2012 the year of the Wiggle Mountain Mayhem Million.

The website will offer visitors information about Wiggle, Pacific Edge Events and Wiggle Mountain Mayhem itself. It will have an online shop where fans of the event can buy exclusive Wiggle Mountain Mayhem clothing and accessories plus information about the event, the location, other sponsors and how to enter.

Riders are encouraged to get their entries in promptly to make sure that they get their place on what is one of the most highly anticipated events in the World’s cycling calendar.
