Bluegrass Enduro Series Launched

Enduros, enduros, everywhere. If you fancy a little racing over on the continent then yet another option has popped up. The Bluegrass Enduro Tour is going to be taking place this summer at four locations in Eastern France, all near the border with Germany and Switzerland.

The series has been organised together with enduro supremo and current Singletrack cover star star Jérôme Clementz and there will be plenty of big names riding, including 2012 Megavalanche winner Rémy Absalon. They’re promising great tracks, organisation, food and atmosphere – here’s some video to get you all excited…

Current dates are:

Round 1: Wissembourg. April 1st.

Round 2: Ste Marie aux Mines, May the 8th.

Round 3: Dabo. September the 9th.

Round 4: Mont Vaudois. September the 23rd.

All four races are within reach of a couple of budget airline destinations, Karlsruhe-Baden in Germany (Ryanair) and Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg in Switzerland (Easyjet). Out of idle curiosity, we popped the locations into Google Maps and they’re all about a nine hour drive from London – pretty much the same amount of time it takes to get to Fort William.
