Midweek Mini Movies

It’s been a hard few days at Singletrack Towers. Stolen bikes, missing pictures and now it’s just started hammering it down. If you’re feeling as blue as us (or just plain bored) then this lot should help make your day go a little bit faster. First up, it’s nothing to do with bikes, but it’s what we’d like you to do if you’ve seen our stolen stuff…

Okay, on with the proper stuff. Skyline Cycles brought us the glamourous Girls of Afan video a while back which probably brightened up a few people’s day, but here we have some blatant marketing for them being the only Gravity Dropper Service centre in the UK. We can forgive them that as it’s beautifully shot. We’re liking the handlebar mounted shots, they look ace.

Sunshine is something we haven’t seen for a little bit, so this cut from Doug at Basque MTB made us yearn for dust and blue skies…

Somhairle from High-8 has been off adventuring in the mountains of Scotland. Here’s a moody edit taken in while riding the Devils Staircase and Ciaran Path round the back of Glencoe. Looks epic in the true sense of the word…

We’ve never thought of roadkill rabbit as a decent trail food but maybe we should reconsider. Does make your dress sense go a bit weird though. Barry Reid and his mates have had a little adventure in the Southern Caingorns, taking in the delights of Glen Esk, Glen Tanar and Glen Clova.

Just to get the balance of wet and grim and sunny and buff, the guys from Cane Creek have sent us this video of their employees and friends riding around their local trails. Their lunch break looks much, much better than ours…

Back to the wet! Here’s Nick Jones riding around Wales. Well, it’s not all grim, with the drizzle interspersed with glimpses of Welsh sunshine, amongst the rarest of all the sunshines…

That’s all for this week. If you’ve seen anything you reckon we should get our eyes around then send it to newsdesk@singletrackworld.com. Big thanks to everyone who sent stuff in this week too…
