It is the same technology as used on water treatment works across the world so as long as the instructions are followed it should be fine.  more effective than iodine tablets too as would kill / deactivate stuff like cryptosporidium and leave no rubbish taste.  cool.

any chance of one to test? I am a water quality scientist so would be interesting to see how it performs (could try and get lab tests done too)</description>

		<description>They tell you to upend the bottle during the 80 second blast. I&#039;d agree that if it was super silty, it&#039;s not going to be good, but then neither are iodine tablets. You can always strain it through your Buff before treating it.</description>
