The English Downhill Championships This Weekend

A whole basket full of British Cycling Ranking points are on offer to everyone and custom made Helmet Trophies for the top 3 English Men and Women in each category.

To top off the prizes there the Latest £1700 worth of Astrix Havoc downhill Frame to be one by one very luck rider, everyone’s race number goes into the hat and a number is drawn at random to win the frame.

The Championship is part of Rd3 the Caersws Cup Series sponsored by Astrix Europe and Mojo Suspension on a brand new track that has been built since the trees were cut down from the top of Caersws.

The course starts on the original Midland track then picks up a totally new hang on fast open swooping hillside. The track has been designed to be wide to allow loads of line choices.

Those that make the best line choices will be in with a good chance of winning the £100 cash for Fastest Time of the day.

Work has also been going on to improve Uplift with new trailers to give you a quick turn round and get you more runs down this new track.

Free camping from Friday afternoon but get there early to pick the best spot, there is hard standing on the fire road for Motor homes and large vans or space in the finishing field for Teams to set up next to the finish line.

The weather forecast looks good, loads of ranking points on offer, a championship to win if you live in England and brand new track to race on.
