All depends how hard you are going to try on that section. You can always bring full-facer/armour and have a look at the DH course before deciding either way. The DH is kinda like a descent you'd do on a normal day ride somewhere rocky. It's not that steep, or rocky. But if you came off it would hurt 'cos there's nowhere to land that isn't rock really! :-) Wear what you’d normally wear for a technical-ish kinda ride. You can always bring full-facer/armour and have a look at the DH course before deciding either way.
