Chipps’ Blood still makes me chuckle. Looking forward to the new Rad style.
Glad someone’s going to long term test that BB.

What colour is the commencal going to be sprayed?
Sim said on April 5, 2009
My Commencal should reappear in Ford Focus ST orange, for the ultimate in boy racer looks.

All these bright coloured bikes will be bright regrets in just a couple of years. Stick with black says I.
Black is boring. I hate boring. I’ll just get it re-sprayed again when I get bored of it, keep it fresh, keep it interesting.

I wish I worked on a magazine and could afford to respray bikes for fun, I can barely afford to replace the parts I’ve worn out and broken

You’ve had that Genesis frame ages now haven’t you? Pull your fingers out and get it built up!

Focus ST orange? Inspired by the Atherton 4X frame Sim?
Alb said on April 7, 2009
Yeah come on lads pull your finger out! That Genesis frame has been with you for ages now. What do you do all day? Ride bikes and drink coffee??? 😉
Sim said on April 7, 2009
Sorry I didn’t reply earlier, I’ve been out riding bikes and drinking coffee. Simultaneously.
Helps save time you see. 🙂
The re-spray was inspired by Rus from Madison and his blingy Meta 4x at the icebike show, and I’m a sucker for orange.
Mister P said on April 7, 2009
I thought that was the Athertons, didn’t realise Rus had ANOTHER bike!
Are you a full roast or medium roast man, Sim? 😉
I like my coffee like I like my bikes, strong and small.
And in a cup.

Bikes in’a cup – the next big thing?
How do you clean your bike after a ride?
