The Press Release from DT Swiss in full effect…

“The 1250 gram full carbon dream. The new high end tool of choice for Olympic and World Championship medalists Nino Schurter, Florian Vogel and Nathalie Schneitter will be available in a limited quantity at your local bike shop this Spring.

“Asked to come up with the ultimate no-compromise race fork – the Swiss engineers developed an all new High-Modulus carbon fiber upper as well as an all new, disc only carbon fiber lower paired with a set of postmount magnesium dropouts. The result is a full carbon dream, weighing in at just 1250 grams including the handlebar mounted remote lockout.

“The new XRC 100 race Ltd. fork is not only lighter than the standard XRC 100 fork, it is also stiffer in absolute terms as well as in stiffness-to-weight ratio

“After several months of testing under the most demanding conditions, both laboratory and field testing, the XRC 100 race Ltd. Will be available to a limited number of racers, riders and collectors at your local bike shop – put your name on the list.”
